Frank Shamrock and Tito Ortiz have publicly stated that they would like to have a rematch, likely to be promoted by Elite XC. As you may already know, Tito will be fighting his last fight on his UFC contract against Lyoto Machida at UFC 84.

In a recent interview, Tito talked about his bitter rivalry with UFC president Dana White. He said after this contract he is leaving the UFC, and would not return as long as Dana is president.

If Shamrock can secure a win over Cung Le in this Saturdays' co-promoted Elite XC and Strikeforce event, Tito vs. Shamrock 2 will be a fight most fans want to see.
